Train With ECG-Powered Precision.
Built For Cyclists.

Frontier Zone combines continuous ECG, advanced recovery insights, and real-time zone alerts to help cyclists train smarter.

Why serious cyclists trust ECG grade accuracy

Use high-quality continuous ECG-grade heart rate and breathing data to stay at the intended training intensity and avoid drifting out of key zones.

Track recovery and physiological strain trends to balance training load and reduce the risk of overtraining.

Get responsive heart rate data that reflects rapid changes in effort during climbs, intervals, and hard efforts.

Reliable ECG measurements during sweat, movement, vibration, and long rides.

Use HRV trends to understand readiness and optimize when to push or recover.

I used the online fourth frontier analysis tool together with my own ramp tests and FTP tests to nail my “easy”, “moderate” and “hard” intensity zones with power, heart rate and breathing. Very powerful- to the extent that pro-cycling teams are doing this now

This is an excellent product and provides insightful data on cardiovascular health during exercise. It integrates well with the iPhone and Garmin products. I have been using this for over a year for cycling and running.

Love the HR monitor, using it for running cycling walking mainly for over a year. Used it to work out my FTP and even impressed my GP. Taking back control of my health from the state and industry.

Certification

Why serious cyclists choose Frontier Zone

Wrist-based HR struggles during intense rides

ECG
  • Direct electrical heart signal measurement from the chest
  • Reliable signal quality during climbs, sprints, and hard efforts
  • Precise physiological data for training, recovery, and performance
  • Instant response to changes in effort
PPG
  • Estimates heart rate using optical sensors on the wrist
  • Signal quality can be affected by movement and wrist position
  • Reduced accuracy during hard efforts and intervals
  • Slower response to rapid changes in intensity

Features

Gold Standard Heart Rate

Chest-based ECG captures a more reliable signal during intervals, sweat, and high movement, so heart-rate accuracy remains stable as intensity rises.

Advanced HRV Insights

Track HRV trends at ±1ms precision to better understand fatigue, readiness, and adaptation across training blocks.

Track 20+ Activities

Capture continuous heart and performance data across running, cycling, rowing, hiking, and more.

VT1–VT2 based zones

VT zones are training zones defined by ventilatory thresholds, which reflect key shifts in energy production during exercise, rather than estimated heart-rate ranges.

VO₂ Max trends

Track VO₂ Max changes over time to see whether your training is improving aerobic performance.

Zone-Based Alerts

Receive vibration alerts when heart rate moves outside your set zone thresholds.

Strain Monitoring

See how hard the cardiovascular system was working during a session for a clearer view of effort and physiological demand.

Training load

Track cumulative exercise load over time to keep effort, recovery, and progression in balance.

Session metrics

Review pace, distance, duration, and related session data alongside heart-based metrics for a complete view of performance.

Activity Tagging & Notes

Add notes and tags to sessions to better interpret how routine, behaviour, and context affect performance.

ECG + GPS Maps

View ECG data alongside route mapping to interpret cardiac response across changing terrain, pace, and effort.

Readiness score

See how prepared the body is for training on a given day, so intensity better matches current condition.

Sleep stage analysis

Track sleep stages and consistency to better understand recovery quality over time.

Stress monitoring

Track physiological stress over time through HRV and related signals to better understand overall recovery state.

Live ECG streaming and continuous recording

View live ECG during activity and capture continuous recordings for a complete view of cardiac activity over time.

Generate and share ECG reports

Download ECG data in PDF, CSV, or EDF formats and share it with a coach or healthcare professional when needed.
