Disposal Information

This product shall be disposed of separately from household waste, in accordance with local laws and regulations. It contains a rechargeable battery and shall be disposed of at a collection point designated by local authorities, or through a take-back scheme where available. Do not throw the device into fire.

Battery

Charging Procedure

• Charge your Frontier X3 in a dry and well-ventilated environment.
• Before charging, make sure the USB-C charging port is completely dry. Wipe off any water or sweat from the outside of the device and shake the device dry. Most importantly, ensure that the inside of the USB-C port is absolutely dry. Charging with a wet port might cause issues such as slow charging, damage or overheating.
• The Frontier X3 does not come with a USB wall charger. Use a USB wall charger with a rated output voltage of 5 V and a rated output current not higher than 1 A.
• Plug one end of the USB-C cable into the wall charger and the other end into the USB-C port on the Frontier X3 device.
• During charging, the status LED will illuminate to indicate charging progress.
• Charging the device from 0 to 100% will typically take 1.5–2 hours. If the battery is fully discharged, expect longer charging times.
• Attention: Other chargers and power banks that do not meet the applicable safety standards may cause issues such as slow charging and overheating. Do not use a damaged cable, connector or charger.

Battery Safety

The Frontier X3 contains a rechargeable battery that is not user-replaceable. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture or modify the device, and do not expose it to fire or excessive heat. If the device becomes unusually hot, emits an unusual smell, swells or shows signs of damage, stop using it and contact Fourth Frontier support at support@fourthfrontier.com.

Expected Battery Life

• A fully charged Frontier X3 can last up to approximately 4 months when used for an average of 1 hour per day.
• A fully charged Frontier X3 can last approximately 168 hours in Monitor Mode before you need to download your data and charge the device.
• Actual battery life varies depending on usage, settings, connectivity and environmental conditions.
• For optimal usage, we recommend charging your Frontier X3 when the battery level goes below 20%.

Viewing the Battery Level

The Frontier X3 does not have an onboard display. Battery level is shown in the Fourth Frontier mobile app.

RF Exposure

Frontier X3 meets applicable limits for radio frequency (RF) exposure in different modes of operation when used as described in the product instructions.

Data Protection

Fourth Frontier endeavors to protect the security of its users' personal information and carries out periodic evaluations internally to review that its policies and procedures meet applicable data privacy requirements, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
